Current Version

Overview

The current version of the Alarms Service is 0.3.1. The software is available as a gzipped tar archive. It contains the required Java libraries for the Alarms Service. To run the service using inetd on Unix/Linux the Apache Commons Daemon is used as a wrapper. Executables for this wrapper have been built on Scientific Linux 4 for 32 and 64 bit architectures and are included in the distribution. Other Operating Systems may require this component to be compiled yourself. See the Installation Guide for more details.

Prerequisites

The following software is required to run the current version:

A Java JRE, version 1.5 or greater.
Nagios (tested on version 3 and above).
